It's not that far off. I am going to have to find someone to show me how to turkey hunt. Lot's of turkeys around our place, but I have no idea what I am doing once I get out there.

Buy some calls, watch some videos and give it a whirl if you can't find a mentor.  That's how I got HOOKED.  It is so much more fun than deer hunting!!

Just out riding in the country yesterday around 10 am or so, TexasHuntress and I saw a doe (feeding about 15 feet from a house!) and about 2 dozen turkeys in 3 different groups, including at least 6 mature gobblers and several jakes.
