WOW!! I checked out a pair of Razors and Vipers at Dusk tonight. Both were great binos, but as the light faded, the Razors shined!! With the naked eye I could see a bump on the power line at about 80yds, with the Vipers, I could see the colors and tell that it was a blue bird sitting on the line-- with the Razors, I could HONESTLY see the eyes of the bluebird!! I'm sold - just gonna check them against some swarovskis tomorrow evening at the sporting goods store, but last time I checked the swarovskis were better than my Nikons, but not by $1400 and I'll bet that the Vortex are as good or better.... Stay Tuned!

Interested to know how this pans out...and what the Vortex glass costs. probably the last thing in the world I need right now is another pair of binos...between 'Huntress and me we have about 4 or 5 pairs, but ya never know!

Ok, Swarovskis were just a touch brighter, really had to work at it, but they were the better binocular... However, they were no where near twice as good, nor worth a $1000 more. I'm going with the Vortex.
